The iconic and luxurious Gansevoort Meatpacking Hotel, which first opened in 2004, has been credited for helping to galvanize the Meatpacking District – long before its cobblestone streets became one of the most highly trafficked neighborhoods in New York City. Almost 17 years later, Gansevoort Meatpacking has undergone a multimillion dollar top to bottom renovation, from the famed Gansevoort Rooftop to the addition of a basement-level bowling and karaoke bar coming in 2022.

Yachty’s is located inside of the Hudson Yards Pavilion, facing The Vessel in which is known as one of the most exquisite observation decks in New York. Gathering thousands of sightseeing tourists every week along with many New Yorkers working and living around the premises.
A gargantuan 6,500 square footage of space, Yachty’s features a retractable canopy over 16 feet tall with retractable roof and bi-foldable, therefore allowing the indoor space to further interact with the exterior while maximizing its airy appearance. The restaurant also features a 22 feet long teak and holly centered bar displaying the American flag hung from a natural wood trellis above, 2 food containers cladded with blond cedar shingles, large dining area with deuces as well as community tables, and several blue and white striped private cabanas with a 180 degree view of the Hudson River and New Jersey.
Beyond its name and waterfront location, by adding a few minor details such as Adirondack chairs spread throughout the space, “Grass Lounge” area with marine theme umbrella covered seating and a hammock over a small sandpit and large greenery walls as background, doesn’t only provide the opportunity for the perfect “Instagramable” moment, but it also coalesces with the Maine to Cape Cod coastal ambiance that both GSA & ACT2 strived to achieve.
