The National Law Journal has named Hoagland Longo partner Lawrence P. Powers among the nation’s “Real Estate/Construction Law Trailblazers” in 2022 for his role in representing the AIA and AIA-NJ in State Board of Architects v. George North, P.E. The case had a long-term impact on the practice of the professions of engineering and architecture in New Jersey. The “Trailblazers” series recognizes legal professionals who have made a significant impact on their respective practice area spanning a wide variety of sectors, including Litigation, Health Care, Intellectual Property, among others.
As Co-Chair of the firm’s Construction Litigation Department, Larry regularly handles complex construction disputes, including difficult loss prevention and risk management assignments for world renowned design firms and all major professional liability insurers.
