School of Public Architecture

Michael Graves College, Kean University

SUSAN T. RODRIGUEZ, FAIA

“Current Work”

Kean Hall 127 – April 17, 5pm

You are invited to the Inaugural AIA NJ Lecture at Kean University’s School of Public Architecture.

We are most pleased to have distinguished architect Susan T. Rodriguez, FAIA, as the first speaker in this series.

Susan Rodriguez is the founder of STR | A-D, which has carried out major projects in New York City and its environs, as well as across America and in Zambia. She describes her practice as “…Designing at the intersection of architecture and the public realm, the studio distills the essence of cultures and communities through work that ranges in scale and type, from interventions in historic precincts to new large-scale monumental buildings. To each project, STR | A·D brings an attitude about design that connects people to place and to each other through an architecture of interpretation…”

The lecture takes place in Kean Hall on Monday, April 17 at 5pm. Refreshments will be provided after the presentation and questions from the audience. Parking is available adjacent to Kean Hall.

The Michael Graves College thanks AIA NJ for their support of our programs and our students.
