Reading Time: < 1 minuteOn Monday, April 24th, three Architects League of Northern New Jersey members served as jurors for final presentations at the New Jersey Institute of Technology Hillier College of Architecture and Design. Fifteen students were challenged with designing a new structure for the public at the southern tip of Liberty State Park on or near Black Tom Island under the academic direction of Ruperto Arvelo, AIA, LEED AP.
Eric Lam, AIA, LEED AP; Joe David, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP BD+C, Well AP; and Stacey Ruhle Kliesch, AIA, LEED AP, CID; along with professional colleague Subhro Acharya, provided commentary and asked questions about the varied museums, art galleries, food courts, ferry terminals and educational centers designed by the students.
