If your SAP Evaluator card has expired within the last 12 months or is about to expire, you can continue your registration in the program by taking an instructor led Evaluator Training or an online refresher course from CALOES
 
The SAP training program was developed by the California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services (CalOES) to provide leadership, advocacy, and training to architects who are interested in developing their professional skills for use in times of crisis. This workshop will teach participants to conduct rapid damage assessments of structures affected by earthquakes, wind, and water. It also teaches the appropriate protocol for coordinating with emergency managers to limit professional liability.
 
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to consistently and safely assess structures for habitability and will receive a nationally recognized building evaluator certification from the state of California.
 
 
This program is worth 7 LU/HSW credits and runs from 9:00AM – 12:30PM each day. To earn credit, you must be present for both days of the session.
 
Please note if you have already taken this program during your current licensure period you will NOT be eligible to receive this credit again.
