The AIA New Jersey Equity In Architecture Committee hosted an event on October 26, 2023, at The Committee Pig in Manasquan, NJ. This facilitated, interactive event invited all attendees to share their experiences of professional inequity and then brainstorm solutions to these conditions, utilizing the AIA Guides To Equitable Practice and AIA Code of Ethics as resources. While the conversation was dynamic and valuable, much better progress could be made with more robust participation. We hope to build this community.
