On, Thursday, January 18, 2024, the AIA Architects League 2024 Officers and Board of Trustees were installed at the annual Awards and Installation Dinner by AIA ALNNJ and AIA New Jersey Past President, Stacey Ruhle Kliesch, AIA.
ALNNJ 2024 President Sean J. Van, AIA
Sean J. Van, AIA, was installed as President. Sean is certified by NCARB, and a WELL® Accredited Professional with over 20 years of experience. His educational background includes an MBA with a concentration in Leadership & Strategy and a Bachelor’s in Architecture.
Sean is a Regional Business Operations Manager at Ware Malcomb, where he is responsible for overseeing the operations of multiple studios/offices located in New York and New Jersey. In this role, he manages various aspects including financials, staff and work planning, human capital management, as well as training initiatives.
His project experience spans diverse sectors such as commercial, municipal, retail, educational, food service, industrial, residential, and branding, covering all project phases.

The event was held at Sayola Restaurant in Tenafly, New Jersey, and attended by over 60 members and guests. Everyone enjoyed a fantastic Spanish meal. ALNNJ Past President Ryan Moran, AIA, chaired the event.
