Reading Time: < 1 minutePotential speakers sought for The CRAN (Custon Residential Architects Network) Forum at the AIA’s Conference on Architecture in Washington DC on Thursday, June 6th. The AIA does not provide a speaker stipend for this event, so we are looking for people already planning to attend the conference.
Criteria In addition to the note above about already being at or near the conference
· We are especially interested in practitioners taking collaboration to the next level, not just “playing well with others” as we all do. That may be via new technology, less traditional types of business practices, or more.
· We are always looking to field a diverse group of speakers representing a range of custom residential architects, collaborators, and design-build practices for this Forum.
About the Event
The CRAN Forum is a highly successful annual event that typically sells out.
This year, the Forum will gather “leading architects, builders, and consultants for a candid discussion of cutting-edge and tried-and-true tools for bringing out the best in residential design. From the power of a phone call to multi-user VR, panelists will share their challenges and successes in modern-day teamwork. Claire Conroy of Residential Design will moderate.”
Questions may include: How has collaboration changed throughout your career? What are some key obstacles in today’s practice? How have you overcome them, and what do you see on the horizon?
Please contact me to volunteer or suggest others.
Thank you!
