AIA New Jersey Strategic Councilor Verity Frizzell, FAIA, Celebrates Architecture Week At Bay Head School

This week, to mark Architecture Week 2024, the 5th-grade class at Bay Head School was fortunate to learn from local architect Mrs. Verity Frizzell, FAIA, Principal at FWH Associates.  She spoke about the many jobs of an architect, how to become an architect and the different structures an architect designs.  She then led the students in a climate action design challenge using Legos.  Students were so interested in her presentation that it was difficult to get them to stop working!

Architecture Week celebrates the profession of architecture and invites everyone—especially K-12 students—to explore architecture and design. It’s never too early to start thinking like an architect! Architecture Week 2024 is a nationwide celebration recognizing the power of good design, intending to inspire hopeful architecture in both design professionals and K-12 students.
