Explore how architecture can go beyond aesthetics to truly empower users and communities. Joshua Ramus, founding principal of REX, will share his insights on creating designs that are both functionally innovative and visually inspiring. He will discuss the importance of moving past outdated notions of flexibility, which have often led to bland, uninspired spaces, and will introduce new ideas for making architecture more responsive to the needs of its users.

 

The 2024 AIA NJ Design & Service Award Winners will be announced at this event. Don’t miss the chance—submit your projects and service nominations today! Service Award nominations are due by September 20 and submissions for Design Awards are due by Friday, October 11. State Design Award Submissions from 2022, 2023 and 2024 can also be entered for the Tri-State Design Award Competition (due October 13).
