Reading Time: < 1 minuteThe American Institute of Architects New Jersey (AIANJ) Women in Architecture (WIA) Committee invites you to join our efforts in supporting and empowering women in the architecture and design profession. Women have always been a dynamic and influential force in our field, yet when we look at leadership roles, we often ask: where are they? At AIANJ WIA, we believe in fostering a diverse and inclusive profession by providing women with leadership development opportunities, valuable career resources, and access to a vibrant peer network.
Under the 2024 leadership of Elina Shchervinsky and 2025 Chair Erin Sharp-Newton, we are working together to create a supportive environment where women can connect, share experiences, and build a network that truly understands the unique needs and challenges faced by women in the profession. By joining the WIA Committee, you’ll become part of a community dedicated to promoting women’s voices and paving the way for future generations of leaders. Together, we can transform the profession and create a stronger, more equitable future for all.
