Presenter:   Craig Konyk, AIA is Chair & Assistant Professor of Architecture at the School of Public Architecture, Michael Graves College @ Kean University. Craig founded KONYK, a creative architectural design studio, in 1989, which seeks innovative approaches to architecture at multiple scales. He was formerly Adjunct Assistant Professor of Architecture in the Graduate School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation (GSAPP) at Columbia University and in the Graduate School of Architecture at Pratt Institute. He is a frequent lecturer and critic at other architecture schools and associations. Craig Konyk has been named an Emerging Voice by the Architectural League of New York and was a finalist for the Rome Prize in Urban Design by the American Academy in Rome. He has served on the Boards of Artists Space, the Architectural League of NY and The Architect’s Newspaper.

Description:   This webinar presentation will introduce three projects that explore sustainability, work commuting, and new design ideas for the suburbs. Through the study of this work participants will see ideas that can lead to a more sustainable, healthy, and equitable world, aligning with the goals of the AIA Climate Action Plan. There will be breakout sessions for small group discussions.
