Our Mission
The Mission of the AIA New Jersey Women in Architecture Committee is to champion the role of women in the architectural realm by cultivating a vibrant community, fostering fellowship, advancing educational initiatives, and conducting outreach efforts. We strive to promote, validate, and illuminate the invaluable contributions of women within the architectural field.We strive to:
- Raise awareness about women’s impactful contributions to the built environment and promote cultural understanding.
- Create a networking hub that celebrates and supports the achievements of women in the field.
- Lead efforts to increase diversity by actively advocating for women’s advancement into leadership roles.
- Serve as a vocal advocate for addressing and resolving issues that affect women within the profession.
